As a local resident , I am very passionate and care about our community. I have worked in publishing and advertising for over 18 years, and using my experience and passion was able to create The Mirfield Word. I want to share my passion with you, and together create a place to live and work that we can all be proud of.

Jenna Shelton
Business Owner/ Editor and Publisher
Having spent the first 10 years of my career working for large media companies, I now love working locally for myself. I enjoy using my 18 years’ of experience helping local businesses get the right message and ad for them. The Mirfield Word isn’t part of a franchise or larger group, it’s an independent business - I eat, sleep and breath this magazine and marketing is my passion.
When I am not working I enjoy travelling with my husband, walking with my two King Charles Spaniels and socialising with friends and family.
Corey Blades
Graphic Designer
Based in Mirfield, I offer a wide range of freelance design services for local businesses. Ranging from entirely digital design such as branding and guidelines, illustration and social media packages, to print and product manufacturing, working with local companies.
When I am not working I enjoy going to the gym and socialising with friends.
